A Building forms part of a Community, inevitably and should be productive to a Civilisation and its Individuals to function to the focuses of good values of a progressive Society.
Oftentimes, that is for success or progress such as using Iconic Libraries, Universities, Community Centres, Schools and Hospitals as healing spaces, even. Even Mansions, Palaces, Homes, Shops and Offices - all added together are classed somewhat as Amenities that can shape and assist with ideals and lifestyles.
Ever wondered how much ‘Town Planning’ efforts are considered every day? How many ‘Think Tanks’ or Advisory Consultancy services discuss Town Planning and Designs of such Buildings? How many consider the Citizen or later generations of those places in a Country?
A City or Village is generally designed to serve a purpose for the people living in it - even in Ancient Times that was the norm. And, that shapes the ‘make up’ of a Country - so, just as buildings are valid - these buildings would have had or in future, would need Exterior Designers.
However, the Citizen is also equally part of the Community they ‘live in’ which is valid. In my humble opinion, we ought to, as much as possible, design our Spaces according to what ‘We’ need inclusively. Why should a Citizen be excluded from living within a luxurious level of Aesthetics as a Community setting for Peace and Unity purposes? That is where the Art and Design realms can assist here.
In fact, Sociologically, people generally need to interact with each other to fulfill a functional society developing for the better or empowerment for Everyone, at least, as much as possible.
This is the way to cater to Life itself at different Ages, Places, Nutrition, Healthcare, Travel, Tourism, Education, Opportunities and Ageing Populations and more markers to be considered in Town Planning.
I have a deep connection to Luxurious and Iconic Exterior Designs… Simple.
